VASES MADE OF GLASS

Jeanne Koepp has been fascinated by glass as a material for several years. Koepp says that every material has its own appeal and that glass in particular offers her an intense color spectrum in addition to the translucency of glass. The luminosity and colorfulness were the impulse to deal with the initially new material and to explore the aesthetic and material-immanent possibilities for her own work. With a clear and contemporary design language, combined with outstanding craftsmanship, blown in the wood mold, manufactured at traditional locations such as Murano and Zwiesel, the works are convincing due to their high functionality, which at the same time bring beauty and poetry into everyday life. Jeanne Koepp combines solid craftsmanship and artistic standards to create sensual objects of everyday culture. In addition to large-volume individual pieces, three small series have been created in close collaboration with local glassblowers during many working stays in Italy and in Zwiesel, Bavaria, since 2020. THEA, FEDERICA and TINE. All three series are based on a classic shape that is broken up by straight, beveled edges and engraved elements.

TINS MADE OF CLAY

I have had a love of useless objects for a long time. Many years ago I made jars on the potter's wheel, and for some time now I have been using plaster molds to reproduce them. At the moment there are 4 different jars in the range. There are often ceramic decals on the glaze, which are images printed with ceramic colors that are fired at high temperatures.

There are also single-colored jars and of course you can also use them!
