Jeanne Koepp's vases are blown and therefore unique.

Each vase therefore has its own characteristics, the thickness of the glass is different and influences the color intensity.

This manufacturing process can result in minimal air and particle inclusions in the glass, which does not mean a reduction in quality, but is a sign of handmade products.

After the design of the vase "TINE"©Jeanne Koepp 2023, I commissioned a wood turner to make a wooden mould to reproduce the vase.

As early as 1421, the first glassworks was established in Zwiesel, which produced glass buttons and rosaries. Today's Zwiesel Kristallglas AG was founded by Anton Müller in 1872.Nevertheless, the part of the traditional glassmaking, the blowing into a wooden mold for an identical reproduction, was kept. Therefore  decided to have the vase "TINE" made in Zwiesel.

The result can be seen here.
